Friendship Centers are a community service program
operated by Lincoln Lutheran since 1969 for persons 55 or older.
They offer a wide variety of social, recreational, and educational
activities at participating churches throughout Racine. Activities
include:
- arts and crafts
- films
- slide shows
- travelogues
- games
- nurse visits
- health counseling
- library services
- speakers
- bus
trips
- auctions
- parties
- and devotional study periods.
Each center
is open on a specified day each week. Please feel free to visit
the Friendship Center nearest you. You do not need to be (or become)
a member of the church to participate.
